David Cox
(April 29, 1783 - June 7, 1859) David Cox grew up in Deritend Birmingham, and was a son of a blacksmith. He grew up to be a very important member of Birmingham School of Landscape Artists and the President of the Associated Artists in water color.

George Dawe
(Feb. 6, 1781 - 1829) At a young age George Dowe started his artistic life style with his father training him as an engraver. George soon became very accomplished at engraving and moved onto paintings. George painted 329 portraits of Russian Generals and later in life ended up becoming a celebrity of international fame and wealth.
